Motorcycle Insurance has become a key target for Allstate
Allstate Corporation is attempting to attract motorcycle owners with the inception of a website that provides safety tips, an events calendar, and suggested scenic rides for bikers.
An advertising campaign geared towards motorcycle riders complements the site which includes ride stories from bike owners, mechanical advice, and a way to create a virtual online motorcycle.
Motorcycle sales have tripled in the last ten years, with more than seven million registrations in the United States, but Allstate has only captured a small portion of that market.
Progressive claims to be the largest motorcycle insurer in the U.S. and State Farm claims that it has about 15% of the market.
For a competitive Motorcycle Insurance Quotation call Serenity Group at 1-800-774-0520 or fill out a car insurance quotes request specifying the details of your motorcycle insurance needs.
IS THE CHEAPEST REALLY THE CHEAPEST?
When we shop for auto insurance, most of us are looking for the best price or payment. Assuming all companies have the same financial rating and coverage forms (the policy), why wouldn’t we go with the cheapest price? Let’s look at how different companies with the same or better rate can actually be more expensive.
Some companies make large profits on fees charged to customers. For example, let’s say you lost your ID card. You request another from your company, and they charge you $10. Or, you may have a new car within the policy period, and add that car to your policy. Some companies charge fees for change endorsements, maybe another $10 or$15. If possible, pay your premium in as few payments as possible. Most companies charge $9 to$15 per payment. This really adds to your total insurance cost.
DID you accidentally let your policy lapse? Well, hang on to your hat! The company may demand a much larger down payment, and additionally charge you a large reinstatement fee.
Kevin,
Thanks for the reply and the birthday thing was a big surprise coming from an insurance agency!! A real nice touch I plan on staying with you even after my SR22 requirements are over (on my last 6 months) since your (my company) is the only one that has always given me clear answers to all my questions no mater how minor they were, plus being the lowest price I could find was a big help also. After getting treated so well why would I want to go anywhere else?
Tom
Attorney General Martha Coakley warned yesterday that a ruling by Insurance Commissioner Nonnie Burnes will mean more uninsured drivers on state roadways.
Coakley, consumer activists and even some insurance-industry officials were taken aback by recent comments by Burnes and her staff that insurers under the new “managed competition” system can reject potential customers if they want.
WHY IS AN SR-22 SO IMPORTANT?
By Tom Black
Serenity Insurance Group
An SR-22 certificate is a proof of financial responsibility. In other words, it serves basically the same purpose as the insurance ID card most drivers carry in their glove compartments.
There is one BIG DIFFERENCE between the normal auto insurance card and an SR-22. If a driver with a SR-22 stops paying for his insurance, that company is required by law to notify the licensing department of that state (DMV, DPS, DOL) and that driver’s license will be automatically suspended, usually with no warning! The result is often an additional ticket for driving while license suspended, and the driver’s insurance policy will have to be re-written, usually with another down payment, and one more point charge for the new citation.
If you have an SR-22 proof of insurance, please do whatever it takes to make your payments, so you don’t have to subject yourself to another hassle with your auto insurance.
Whether you are a preferred driver looking for cheap car insurance or a high risk driver required to carry Form SR 22 insurance, Serenity Insurance can meet your needs. Do you need affordable auto insurance right now? Put us to the test! We work with a large number of companies to get the most competitive auto insurance rates for our customers.
